IdolM@ster Strikes Again! This Time, Ridge Racer Vita

On March 9, 2012, Namco Bandai Games announce that the long running arcade racer, Ridge Racer Vita, will have another DLC. But, instead of new cars and tracks, this time are new paint schemes and songs. And guess what? It's from The IdolM@ster! That idol raising simulation game is still being develop by the same developer though. So it's kinda usual thing for a developer to add some content from other title to the game. Before this, they have appear in Ace Combat series, still made by the same developer. But how about in Ridge Racer Vita? Well then, let's take a look.

The DLC will add a new paint scheme for the car called "EX-Color" from The IdolM@ster. They start from Haruka in Kamata Fiera and Makoto in Soldat Rauna at the first release. Then the other idols will also appear as well, so they will feature all of the 13 idols to 12 from 13 cars overall, with one idol for one car. Well, I said 12 from 13 cars overall  because Ami and Mami are twins. So both will have a same car. They're twins after all. They will also add another 4 new songs, which called "EX-Song", still from The IdolM@ster.

The design for Soldat Rauna "Makoto SP"

Each car will cost 500 Yen, while each song will cost 150 Yen. So all cars will cost 6,500 Yen and all song will cost 2,000 Yen. But, like the previous DLC, there's also the "IdolM@ster Pass", which provides you to access all of the EX-Color cars (all of 13 idols in this case) in the single price, which is 2,980 Yen. With that pass, you can also download an EX-Song "GO MY WAY!!" for free in a limited time. When the time ends, you have to wait until it's release and pay for the song.

The IdolM@ster DLC will be released starts in March 13 for the cars and May 10 for the songs.

  1. Racing games simulate your driving capability even if you are holding only a controller. This throttles your adrenaline making you train a experience.
