Gege Talks: A Mid-Engine GT-R?

It's been with us since 2007, Nissan GT-R is becoming one of most successful high permormance sportscar in the world. Many people in the world from the one who only know cars a bit to petrolheads knows this car, even though most people actually dreaming about driving a Ferrari. The GT-R badge also proved to be successful in motorsport scene since the first GT-R, the Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R. And recently, Nissan announced the comeback to the Le Mans 24 Hours race as a manufacture team in LMP1 category with a car they called Nissan GT-R LM Nismo. And that let's me thinking; is it a possible sign of a mid-engine GT-R road car?

Gege Goes To: AutoRevo Weekend Drive 2014

There is an online automotive media in Indonesia called Bos Mobil and they have an online digital magazine called AutoRevo. I don't know about the magazine, but the website mainly tells about cars, from new car information to lifestyle of car owners. Since it's all about cars, on May 17 and 18, they held an audio competition in, kinda surpisingly, my hometown. It was located on The Breeze in BSD City, Serpong. With that aside, they also held a test drive event called AutoRevo Weekend Drive 2014. Feel curious, I came there to find out.

Gege Spots: M5 Near My Old House

To be honest, I'm not actually a car spotter because I prever driving it than spotting it, and I drive cars more often than spotting them. But I do spotting cars when I can, because I like cars. And yesterday, when I was commemorated the 3 years of my grandfather's death with some kind of tradition, I spot a Bavarian grand tourer near my old house. Yep, it was a BMW M5 F10 right there.

Gege Spots: Ferrari in the Morning

It was at 10.30 in Senayan, when a mall right there was opened for just 30 minutes. It was on the time when the road was used for Car Free Day event, which will end in 30 minutes and the road is open for public. It was on the time when I and my brother were about to go to Otobursa. It was so quiet in the mall area. But, someone had already prepared something earlier.

Parade Test Drive 10 at 15th Otobursa 2014

This is Parade Test Drive 10, which is a car test drive session in Otobursa. And as the name suggest, this event was on its 10th year run. I always come there when it comes to Otobursa. But, this one, or rather this time, was a bit different. Because at first, in the morning, the place was quite. But then, couple hours later, it became crowded, particularly on one car.

First Impression: Datsun Go+

Last year, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn was announce the comeback of Datsun and the brand will focus on cheap cars. Months after that, precisely in the 21th Indonesia International Motor Show, they finally revealed their products, Go and Go+. Despite that, no one, apart from media, can actually experience it directly. But, previously in Otobursa, Datsun had finally showcased one of the product, the Go+, which is the 7-seater version of the Go. And my first impression about that car was, sadly, awful.

Through The Lens: The 15th Otobursa 2014

Tumplek Blek! That's how the slogan is. It is actually a sound effect of a lot dropping parts in Indonesian. Why is that? Because this is Otobursa. And on this year, it was on its 15th year run. This is an automotive event for the one who want to search for a parts for your ride. It's kinda like a treasure hunt really. Although, there's more than that.

I'M BACK! AGAIN!

Hello readers! It's been one and a half years I think since the last post. After series of, well, things, I'm finally back here writing this blog. Did you miss me? Well, I don't think you did. I'm not a pro afterall.

Years had past and lots of things changed my life completely. Well, I don't want to say much. So, long story short, I went to the wrong way back then. And hopefully right now , I'm in the right way. About the blog, the content is still the same as before (about my hobbies), although there will be some changes on them. So, start from the next post, it will be kinda like 'a brand new experience'. And if I can, I will hide the old posts, because I feel kinda embarrased with that. If I can't, well, it will be shown there forever. The thing is that I won't delete my old posts. So for the past readers, thank you for reading my blog. And also thank you for the one who put the comment on my post. I apreciate that.

That's it for now. Next time, the main topic will be an Indonesian automotive event call ed "Otobursa". What is that? You'll see. So stay tuned.
