Tumplek Blek! That's how the slogan is. It is actually a sound effect of a lot dropping parts in Indonesian. Why is that? Because this is Otobursa. And on this year, it was on its 15th year run. This is an automotive event for the one who want to search for a parts for your ride. It's kinda like a treasure hunt really. Although, there's more than that.
Held once a year (yes, it's a yearly event), Otobursa is always being held in East Parking Area of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta. On this year, it was held on May 10th and 11th. Well, it's a bit like SEMA really. But, instead of manufacture parts, the event is filled with almost all salvage parts. Yes, even though there are new parts, you mostly get it second hand. Then, as I said, there's more. There, you could find a car or bike for sale, miniature and model kit sale, dealer showcase, show-off event, stunt show, and even a competition. And for this year, it was bigger than previous years. Well, I said that because I didn't attend last year. Oh, I nearly forgot about this. There was also the usual test drive parade, which I will yell you later. Finally, the prize. The ticket prize was Rp 25,000. With the place that big, it was worth it.
